SUMMARY:Workshop: Climbing Biocultural Heritage Territories as Agrobiodiversity Zones
DESCRIPTION:This meeting was not a conventional workshop\, but rather a exchange of knowledge: a meeting point to weave knowledge and strengthen alliances. Over three days\, we immersed ourselves in a deep and practical dialogue on how Biocultural Heritage Territories (TPBC)\, formalized as Agrobiodiversity Zones (ZABD)\, are at the forefront of rights-based conservation and food sovereignty in the Andes. Inspired by the journey of the Potato Park\, our goal was to co-create a roadmap so that more communities can protect their landscapes\, culture\, and ways of life. Each session was designed to be a space for mutual learning\, where community experience takes center stage and dialogue with academics and policymakers serves as a bridge to action.
