Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. General Information

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all donations made through the official website of ASOCIACIÓN NATURALEZA Y DESARROLLO SOSTENIBLE – ASOCIACIÓN ANDES (hereinafter, “ASOCIACIÓN ANDES”) at https://andes.org.pe.
By making a donation through our platform, you acknowledge and accept the terms established in this policy.

2. Nature of Donations

All donations made to ASOCIACIÓN ANDES are considered voluntary and non-refundable contributions intended to support the organization’s environmental, social, and sustainable development initiatives.
Since donations are not payments for goods or services, they are generally non-refundable once the transaction has been successfully completed.

3. Exceptions and Valid Refund Requests

A refund or cancellation may only be processed under the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Duplicate donations made by mistake.

  • Technical errors in the payment process leading to multiple charges.

  • Incorrect amount entered unintentionally by the donor.

In such cases, the donor must notify ASOCIACIÓN ANDES within five (5) business days from the date of the transaction by sending an email to info@andes.org.pe, providing:

  • Full name of the donor

  • Donation amount

  • Date and method of payment

  • Proof of transaction or screenshot of the payment confirmation

All refund requests will be reviewed carefully and processed within 10 to 15 business days, once verified and approved.

4. Payment Methods and Channels

Donations may be made via:

  • Bank transfer to official accounts of ASOCIACIÓN ANDES

  • Mobile payment systems such as Yape or Plin

  • International donations via PayPal

  • Credit or debit cards through Culqi (to be implemented soon)

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed using the same payment method originally used by the donor.

5. Transaction Errors and Payment Disputes

In the event of an error caused by the payment processor (e.g., PayPal, bank, or mobile payment service), donors should first contact their payment provider to resolve the issue.
If additional assistance is required, ASOCIACIÓN ANDES will collaborate to ensure proper verification and resolution.

6. Data Security and Privacy

All donation-related information is processed through secure and encrypted channels. ASOCIACIÓN ANDES does not store card numbers or sensitive payment data.
Personal data collected during the donation process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, in compliance with Peruvian Law No. 29733 – Personal Data Protection Law.

8. Applicable Law

This Refund and Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any dispute or claim arising from its interpretation or enforcement will be subject to conciliation or resolution by the competent authorities of Indecopi or the Judicial Power of Peru.
